Last week we went to a beautiful place called Belum caves in Andhra Pradhesh. This place is around 280KM from Benguluru and very close to Tadipatri in Andhra Pradhesh. I think this is one of the best maintained tourist place in India. You would never believe that in India we can have such a nice maintainance. Whole 3.25KM length of the caves are lit with beautiful lighting. Archi
eology department has completely done the flooring with stone. I remember going to Borra caves in my childhood. Very beautiful natural caves, but the maintainance was very poor those days. I heard they are also mantained well now. But Belum caves are real example of what level we can go for maintainance. Thanks to Chandrababu Naidu, who proactively pushed all the government to do their job. Today its a tourist delight. Anybody going there will not be disappointed. They have drilled deep into the caves from top to just blow air. That makes it easy for us to go inside. Otherwise, I think it is impossible to go so deep inside the caves. There are beautiful sit outs, water bodies, natural beauty and a good feeling. I think you can get the route map and directions easily from any blog. But the rating of mine for the place is 5/5. Excellent place.
